So I just purchased an Electronic Federal Duck Stamp and printed it off. It prints just like the yellow tags for everything else. At the top is states "Expires June 30, 2015" Why then, does is state above the signature line "Valid for 45 days from date of issue"? Are they going to mail me a real stamp and this is just the temp?
Hard to imagine the MDC issuing something that would be confusing but this has my little brain wondering...
Which one of you hands is going to enlighten me? I really don't want to e-mail or call the MDC.

I guess that's that much easier to deal with compared to stopping by a post office ?
The sumbitches are everywhere. I see 'em every day.

You mean you can still buy them at the same place you could buy them for the last 80 years..........interesting. Who woulda think it. Piss on giving MDC an extra $2.50 to mail you a stamp

First of all, it is $1 extra. Secondly, I don't pass Post Offices every day. If I did, I still have little interest in taking a number and waiting 20 mins, for them to call my number, with all of the blue-hairs that still use the Post Office, when I can click a mouse a few times and be done with it. Fork the Post Office and the dinosaurs thar still use it... If it costs me an extra $1 and saves me from going into a gubbamint building and 20-30 mins of my time, I'll pay it every time...

Bought mine online two days before teal season. Still haven't got the real one in the mail yet. Way I figure it with or without an expiration date I have conformed to the regulation. If and when it comes I will sign it and stick it to my license. If it doesn't come I will carry the temporary one around in my wallet and let the chips fall where they may.

I walked into the Calvin Ok post office. No line. No wait. No blue hairs. No extra $1 to the Missouri Department of Communism. No Ebonics. Life is good

I talked to a friend at MDC. He says the e stamp was not their idea. It was pushed on MO by the Feds as an experimental state. They ain't happy either....
Just trying to keep it real , but I know haters gotta hate..
BTW , I walked into the local post office and walked out 2 minutes later with my stamp.

Shame on you Bubba! A friend who works for the Evil Empire??? The horror!
I mean haven't you learned on here that anything even remotely related to MDC must be hated and shunned? Geez c'mon man!

MDC is great. They have us Quick Draw, duck parks, & bike trails. I hope they accept my intern application. I have seen the light and love everything about them. Koolaid drunk with them.

I, for one, like the e-stamp. Every day I don't have to step foot in a post office or talk to someone from Wal-Mart is a good day.
Now, you bastages, that's another story.....I don't like none of youse.

Come to think of it, I haven't gotten mine. Got the "temporary" one before teal season. Didn't even think of any charges or such nonsense. Now I am pizzed off.
